Laughing at Murder?
KFOX-TV’s Hema Mullur found herself in an awkward on-air moment while covering the tragic murder of Tara Grant by her husband, Stephen Grant. So she’s talking about something as serious as a murder, but as she delivered the report, a sudden laugh escaped her, leaving viewers puzzled and she herself visibly embarrassed.
The reason she laughed was because of Stephen’s mugshot that had just flashed on the screen. It caught her off guard with its unexpected look; looking at it too, we kind of understand. Later, Hema clarified that her laughter wasn’t aimed at the tragedy but was simply a surprised reaction to the photo.
