Ich relacja zakończyła się jednak, ponieważ aktorka nie mogła poradzić sobie z jego uzależnieniem od nadużywania narkotyków. Mówi się również, że odrzuciła słynnego aktora Roberta DeNiro. Aktualnie, mając 68 lat, Cybill nadal wygląda przepięknie.
