Benedict Cumberbatch might portray the eccentric Sherlock Holmes, who doesn’t let anyone in, but away from the cameras, the star is a hopeless romantic. After being involved in a string of high-profile relationships, the acclaimed actor seems to have found his soulmate in Sophie Hunter, to whom he’s been married since 2015.

While the two met in 2009 when they appeared in a play in London, it wasn’t until 2013 that they decided to give romance a chance, and two years later, they walked down the aisle. The lovebirds have kept their relationship largely under wraps, save for sporadic red carpet appearances, and we bet the privacy has helped them stick together for this long.
