FORMER CHILD STARS NOW – HOW MANY CAN YOU RECOGNIZE?
JASON J. RICHTER – ACTOR, DIRECTOR / PRODUCER
Jason J. Richter was born in Oregon and moved with his family to Hawaii. A Japanese casting agency discovered him at a young age and hired him for several commercials. He moved to LA and landed his first big shot in the 1993 hit Free Willy. But you might ask yourself what happened to Richter after Free Willy? Well, like so many of his childhood friends, he decided to take some time off from acting and attended College. After graduating with a BA he made his way back to Hollywood in 2009 and starred on shows like Bones and Criminal Minds. Today, Richter is still acting sporadically but spends the majority of his time behind the scenes as a director and assistant producer.
