È stata impegnata per poco tempo in una relazione con Lenny Kravitz con cui ha avuto una figlia che molti di noi conoscono: Zoë Kravitz. Nel 2005, ha iniziato la sua relazione con Jason Momoa, ovvero Khal Drogo ed è diventata sua moglie nel 2017. Hanno due figli.
