Eine der wichtigsten Schauspielerinnen aus der Goldenen Ära Hollywoods ist Olivia de Havilland. Die vielfach ausgezeichnete Oscar-Preisträgerin hat heute das stolze Alter von 103 Jahren, die man ihr aber nicht ansieht, denn sie sieht immer noch makellos aus und man kann immer noch die Schönheit sehen, die sie in jungen Jahren berühmt gemacht hat.
Bis in die 60er Jahre hat sie in knapp 50 Kinofilmen mitgespielt und das häufig in der Hauptrolle. Zu den wichtigsten Filmen ihrer Karriere zählen Vom Winde verweht, Die Erbin, und die Schlangengrube, um nur ein paar zu nennen.
