Olivia de Havilland – Geboren in 1916
Als dochter van de Britse Walter de Havilland en actrice Lilian Fontaine werd Olivia de Havilland geboren in Tokio in 1916. Pas in 1918 verhuisde zij met haar ouders naar de Verenigde Staten, waar zij in 1935 haar acteercarrière begon. Zij werd wereldberoemd met haar rol in Gone with the Wind in 1939 en won haar eerste Oscar in 1946 voor To Each his Own.
In 1988 ging Olivia met pensioen, maar zij is één van de oudste nog levende actrices ter wereld. In juni 2017 werd zij geridderd tot Dame Olivia de Havilland in de Orde van het Britse Rijk. Zij is de honderd inmiddels gepasseerd en maakt toch nog steeds indruk met haar innemende glimlach en stralende ogen.
