Gracias a este premio se le abrieron las puertas de la pantalla chica, donde pudo realizar su verdadera pasión que es la actuación.
Su exitosa carrera no ha tenido pausas y al día de hoy con 48 años de edad se sigue manteniendo en la cima. Lo curioso es que casi bordeando las cinco décadas se ve igual de joven que hace veinte años, y según ella esto es que pone bastante atención desmaquillarse antes de ir a dormir.
