Niezwykle popularny, powtarzany wielokrotnie w telewizji serial sprawił, że młodziutka Pola Raksa stała się najpopularniejszą polską aktorką.
Jej urodę i talent można było podziwiać także w takich filmach jak Rękopis znaleziony w Saragossie czy Popioły. Aktorka naprawdę nazywała się Apolonia Raksa i wcale nie marzyła o karierze scenicznej, studiowała polonistykę.
