Największą sławę przyniosła jej rola w Seksmisji Juliusza Machulskiego, nota bene ówczesnego męża naszej blond piękności. Co ciekawe od tamtej pory nie zagrała już w żadnym filmie. Artystka postanowiła oddać się pracy scenicznej. Związana była z warszawskim Teatrem Ochoty, gdzie przez 13 lat pełniła rolę zastępczyni dyrektora artystycznego. W późniejszych latach poświęciła się pracy z młodzieżą. Gdy pojawia się dziś w telewizji, blisko 70-letnia pani Bożena nadal zachwyca urodą.
