Jeder kennt sie als Cote, allerdings ist das nicht der einzige Name den die unglaubliche Schauspielerin trägt. In der Schulzeit hatte sie diesen nämlich als Spitznamen, da viele ihren ursprünglichen Namen, Maria Jose, nicht aussprechen konnte. Bekannt wurde sie durch ihre Rolle als Ziva David in der Serie NCIS.
Abseits von ihren fantastischen Rollen gibt es noch eine Sache die Fans zu ihr aufblicken lassen. Es ist ihr makelloses Aussehen, wo man glatt meinen könnte, dass sie sich unters Messer hat legen lassen, was aber nicht der Fall gewesen ist.
