Sissy Spacek – geboren 1949

Sissy Spacek hatte es zu Beginn ihrer Karriere als Sängerin versucht. Da sie zunächst einmal nicht sehr erfolgreich war, musste sie eine andere Beschäftigung finden und begann zu schauspielern. Heute ist sie schon 70 Jahre alt, sieht aber immer noch unglaublich gut aus. Ihre Laufbahn begann mit Andy Warhol’s Women in Revolt, daraufhin folgten viele weitere Rollen, für die sie vielfach ausgezeichnet wurde.

Ihre wichtigste Auszeichnung war wahrscheinlich der Oscar als beste Schauspielerin für ihre Rolle im Film Coal Minner’s Daughter (1980). Sissy denkt nicht daran in den Ruhestand zu gehen und war 2018 noch in einer Kriminalkomödie und der Webserie Homecomingzu sehen.
