Sheila e Xuxa se conheceram no confinamento de “A Fazenda” e, logo após o programa, engataram um relacionamento. Em 2010, o casal oficializou a união e três anos depois, celebraram a chegada da filha Brenda, que sempre foi o foco da união. Após oito anos de casamento, Sheila e Xuxa decidiram seguir caminhos separados, anunciando o término em 2018.
A separação foi comunicada de forma amigável e discreta, sem brigas públicas ou polêmicas. Ambos afirmaram que, apesar do fim do relacionamento, continuariam unidos como pais e manteriam uma relação de amizade e respeito.
