Russlands umstrittene Heldin: Die Scharfschützin
Trotz der derzeitigen politischen Spannungen um Russlands militärische Aktionen in der Ukraine bleibt das Ansehen der russischen Soldatinnen, besonders der Scharfschützinnen, ungetrübt. Eine dieser Scharfschützinnen, deren Name unbekannt ist, folgt dem Vorbild von Ljudmila Pawlitschenko – auch bekannt als “Lady Death”.
Während des Zweiten Weltkriegs tötete Pawlitschenko 309 Gegner, eine Zahl, die sie zur Legende machte und ihr diesen angsteinflößenden Namen erteilte. Die moderne Scharfschützin unseres Bildes, mit blauen Augen und einer fast modellhaften Erscheinung, zeigt, dass Schönheit und tödliche Präzision auch heute noch in Russlands Armee Hand in Hand gehen.
