Cheetah chic: de ultieme katachtige fancy in Dubai
In de extravagante metropool Dubai zijn zelfs huisdieren geen alledaagse metgezellen. Hier is het houden van cheeta’s als huisdier niet ongebruikelijk, waardoor de term ‘huiskat’ een geheel nieuwe betekenis krijgt. Deze prachtige, snelle wezens, die je meestal ziet sprinten over de Afrikaanse vlaktes, kun je soms zien slenteren door de weelderige huizen in Dubai.
Het grootbrengen van deze dieren is echter geen wandeling in het park (of de woestijn!). Cheeta’s hebben veel ruimte nodig om te rennen, specifieke dieetwensen en veel zorg en aandacht. Voor degenen die deze uitdagingen aan willen gaan, wordt het bezitten van een jachtluipaard een avontuur op zich, dat de huisdierenervaring in een stroomversnelling brengt – letterlijk met 60 mijl per uur!
