Voor reizigers die op zoek zijn naar de smaak van het hogere leven, heeft Dubai naam gemaakt. Deze stad heeft ook veel te bieden voor fijnproevers. De duurste cupcake ter wereld wordt geserveerd in Bloomsbury’s Café in een van de vele winkelcentra in Dubai.
Het eetbare bladgoud van 24k dat is gebruikt om de Golden Phoenix Cupcake te maken, die een nieuwe standaard zet voor culinaire extravagantie, maakt hem anders dan alle andere cupcakes. Er zijn slechts 15 van deze gouden cupcakes verkocht in de twee jaar sinds ze voor het eerst verschenen, en het merendeel wordt gegeten door de elite van de stad.
