Robert Downey Jr. staat tegenwoordig voor succes, faam en veelzijdigheid qua acteerwerk, met al diverse interessante rollen door zijn hele carrière heen, die begon in 1970. De film waar hij recentelijk in is verschenen – Avengers: Endgame heeft meerdere records gehaald qua verkochte kaartjes. Ook speelde hij in de recente remake van Doctor Dolittle in 2020. Hij kocht dit East Hamptons windmolen huis in 2017, en na wat verbouwingen ziet het er nu zo uit. Het was $11,9 miljoen waard toen hij het kocht.
