Bill Gates gilt als einer der Vorreiter der Technik, und sich eine Zeit lang zum reichsten Menschen der Welt gemausert. Mittlerweile ist er immerhin noch in den Top 5 Vertreten. Und auch sein Anwesen, welches einen Wert von 146 Millionen Euro liegen soll, ist mit allen möglichen Schnickschnack ausgestattet. Selbst sein Pool hat eine Unterwassersoundanlage.
Tatsächlich hat er das Anwesen auf „Xanadu 2.0“ getauft, welches eine Anspielung auf einen Charakter in „Citizien Kane“ ist. Neben beheizten Fußböden und Lichter die auf Klatsch-Rhythmen reagieren, hat er alles Mögliche an Elektronik in seinem Haus integriert. Jedoch hat er das Anwesen dennoch geschickt mit der Natur verbunden.
