Maria Andrejczyk – Haus in Suwalken, Polen
Maria Andrejczyk ist eine polnische Speerwerferin, die heute 25 Jahre alt ist und doch schon einiges in ihrem Leben erlebt hat. Sie hat nämlich nicht nur schon erhebliche sportliche Leistungen gebracht und brachte eine Silbermedaille aus Tokio mit, sondern sie musste selbst auch schon Knochenkrebs überstehen. Ihre Medaille hat sie übrigens zu Gunsten eines wohltätigen Zwecks versteigert. Maria lebt weiterhin in Polen in einer Stadt, die Suwalken heißt und unter 70.000 Einwohner hat.
Diese befindet sich in der Nähe von Litauen. Auch wenn sie sehr lange in anderen südeuropäischen Ländern trainiert, so kommt sie immer wieder zu sich nachhause, um die ländliche Umgebung dort zu genießen.
