Sidney Poitier: Actor, $20 Million
Sidney Poitier made history when he became the first Bahamian to win the Academy Award for best actor. During his stint in Hollywood, which spanned over six decades, the performer enjoyed massive success. It saw him star in countless critically and commercially acclaimed films, earning the big bucks in the process.
At the time of his passing in 2022, Poitier had amassed vast amounts of money, with his bank balance, estimated at $20 million, mostly earned from his acting and production gigs. That aside, the legendary actor also held a couple of high-profile ambassadorial jobs, which brought him more dollars in his coffers.
