Kondrat jest niezwykle żwawym 72-latkiem, aktorem, reżyserem oraz przedsiębiorcą, który wciąż aktywnie porusza się w meandrach polskiego filmu, telewizji i biznesu. Na świat przyszedł w Krakowie w 1947 roku. Swoją karierę zapoczątkował na deskach teatru biorąc udział w adaptacjach klasyki, jak chociażby w “Makbecie”.
Następnie kontynuował swoją pracę jako aktor filmowy, jest znany z takich filmów jak “Sanatorium pod Klepsydrą”, czy też “Katyń”. Wyreżyserował też kilka filmów, z których najnowszy to “The Butler” a inne tytuły warte wspomnienia to “Kobieta w oknie”, czy “Koniec”. Jako artysta z imponującym dorobkiem doczekał się uhonorowania w postaci wielu nagród. Jedną z najważniejszych z nich był Złoty Lew za rolę w “Sanatorium pod Klepsydrą”.
