Franciszek Pieczka skończył już 93 lata, ale nie przechodzi na emeryturę, jednak w ostatnich latach częściej wciela się rolę lektora, niż aktora. Znany z filmów takich jak: “Żywot Mateusza”, “Rękopis znaleziony w Saragossie”, jak również “Żywot Mateusza” oraz w popularnym wśród publiczności serialu “Ranczo”.
Został laureatem wielu nagród, w tym Orderu Orła Białego. Niewątpliwie jest jednym z najbardziej znanych i cenionych aktorów w Polsce, bardzo zasłużenie zresztą. Kino pozostaje jego wielką miłością od młodzieńczych lat.
