MICHAŁ URBANIAK, 79 LAT
Urbaniak to uznany muzyk, kompozytor, dyrygent oraz aranżer znany ze swojej twórczości w ramach muzyki jazzowej obecny na polskiej scenie od przeszło sześćdziesięciu lat. Urodził się w stolicy Polski w 1943 roku, czyli w bardzo trudnym okresie okupacji miasta i kraju. Jako dziecko rozpoczął naukę gry na skrzypcach i kontynuował naukę w kierunku tworzenia kompozycji i dyrygentury. Jego wyjątkowa twórczość doczekała się uznania na całym świecie.
W latach 70. Urbaniak przeprowadził się do Stanów Zjednoczonych, gdzie mógł podjąć współpracę ze sławami jazzu takimi jak Miles Davis. Herbie Hancock, czy John McLaughlin. Kooperował także z muzykami rockowymi, jak legendarny David Bowie czy Sting.
