Licenciada en Periodismo debutó en la televisión a comienzos de los años ochenta luego de un breve pero importante paso por la radiodifusión. En la televisión construyó su nombre, que hoy en día a sus 66 años la tienen convertida en uno de los rostros más influyentes de la televisión de la península ibérica.
En el amor, Ana es una afortunada que tiene la suerte de contar con su incondicional esposo Juan Muñoz, con quien hace 17 años decidieron compartir la vida y hasta el día de hoy no se arrepienten de eso.
