Mo’Nique lleva ya mucho tiempo actuando y muchos de ustedes la recordaran por el papel que tuvo en la película Precious, que se estrenó en 2009. Fue el papel que le dio a Mo’Nique su primer premio de la Academia. Aunque su vida profesional iba según lo previsto, su vida personal no era tan buena ya que Mo’Nique luchó con el sobrepeso casi toda su vida.
Sin embargo, las cosas han cambiado para la actriz recientemente, ya que ha conseguido perder unos 80 kilos, gracias a cambiar a comidas saludables y al entrenamiento constante con un entrenador personal.
