Rider Strong
Rider King Strong was born in 1979 in San Francisco, California, and is best known for his role as Shawn Hunter on the TV show Boy Meets World and it’s sequel Girl Meets Boy. He began his acting career at the age of nine on the theater stage and later landed smaller jobs on television. His big breakthrough only came with his role in Boy Meets World. The show run for more than nine years and for his role he was nominate twice for the Young Artist Award,He later appeared in the movies Cabin Fever and could be regular seen on the show Pepper Dennis. He also recorded an audio version for Anthony Kiedis’ biography Scar Tissue. In 2012 he declined the offer to appear as Shawn Hunter on the show Girl Meets World.
Strong is not only a great actor but also very intelligent. In 2004 he earned a degree in English literature. Later, he also completed a degree in Fine Arts at the Bennington College. Actress Alexandro Barreto is his long time girlfriend, they met on the set of Pepper Dennis. They became engaged in 2012 and married a year later in Oregon. Their son Indigo is their little sunshine.
