Pop sensation Britney Spears suffered a mental breakdown in 2007 after some serious alcohol and drug dependence issues went downhill. Unfortunately, this was also the time she was fighting a child custody battle with her ex-husband. She sought the help of psychiatric therapy and admitted herself into a rehab facility as well. She’s better now, thanks to the timely psychiatric aid and drug addiction treatment. Her father has been sick in recent years and this is why she decided to take a hiatus from music first. It’s still unknown when she plans to get back to performing.
