Iman and David Bowie – 24 years
For 24 years, Somalian-born model Iman was half of one of the most alluring couples in music history. The beauty worked as a runway and print model for years before settling down with legendary androgynous rock star David Bowie.
Thanks to a series of successful ventures and investments (including the sale of “Bowie Bonds,” a bizarre asset-backed security that sold shares of Bowie’s intellectual property to buyers in exchange for royalty profits), Bowie and Iman lived in comfort in London together for decades. Bowie passed away in 2016, leaving Iman a widow.
