The actor was not looking for love when he met his future wife, Mary Steenburgen. Ted Danson had what he needed right in front of his eyes, but little did he know then.

Perhaps, the two were so into the fiction of the script, that it became a fact! They went out as friends and returned like two teenagers in love.
