Celebrity Couples Who Have Been Together Since A Long Time
Stephen Colbert & Evelyn McGee-Colbert – 27 Years
Stephen Colbert was contemplating tying the knot with his then-girlfriend before he spotted his current wife, Evelyn McGee-Colbert, making an entrance, which he describes as “majestic,” across a room full of people.
With details of what she wore, a black linen dress still vivid in his mind to date; he remembers thinking to himself, “that’s my wife” before he even approached her. The two have been married for over 27 years, with each of them still having a glow that is hard to hide when talking about the other. Who said that love at first sight, doesn’t last?
