Star Jones – 160 Pounds Lost, Gastric Bypass Surgery

Despite all the stardom that Star Jones achieved during her career, she has always struggled with one thing – being overweight. After the scales crossed 300 pounds, she was diagnosed with morbid obesity. This was when she decided to undergo a gastric bypass procedure, and subsequently, everything became way better!

Jones’ success in reducing the waistline also improved her mental health condition, a lot! In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, she described that the entire process taught her self-acceptance and transformed her into a new, healthy, and confident woman!
