Angela Bassett – Nata nel 1958
Angela Bassett ha guadagnato fama per i suoi ruoli biografici nei panni di Tina Turner in What’s Love Got to Do It, che le ha fatto vincere un Golden Globe e una nomina per un Premio Oscar. Altri suoi celebri ruoli sono stati quelli in Malcolm X, Notorious B.I.G., The Jacksons: An American Dream, e nei panni di Rosa Parks in The Rosa Parks’ Story.
La Bassett è sposata con l’attore Courtney B. Vance dal 1997. Sostiene eventi per bambini che lottano con il diabete o che sono in affidamento. Nel 2018, ha iniziato a produrre e recitare nella serie della Fox, 9-1-1.
