A los 14 años recibió su primer Grammy, siendo el cantante más joven en recibir este premio. Gracias a su amplia trayectoria, el patrimonio neto del cantante es de 180 millones de dólares.
Todo este dinero ha sido gracias a sus álbumes y a sus taquilleras presentaciones. En el año 2010 realizó su gira “Luis Miguel Tour” en donde visitó más de 22 países y realizó 223 shows, siendo esta la gira más larga y taquillera realizada por un artista latino.
