Delta Burke é mais conhecida por estrelar Designing Women. Antes disso, ela teve a incrível experiência de ser coroada Miss Flórida. Burke tem lutado com seu peso durante os anos e simplesmente não conseguia recuperar seu corpo de Miss. Foi nos anos 90 que ela virou foco da mídia e acabou com a autoestima balançada.
Delta eventualmente recebeu um diagnóstico de diabetes, então ela decidiu de uma vez por todas que era hora de agir. Ela adotou uma dieta limpa e se esforçou muito para ter a disciplina e consistência para mantê-la. Burke eventualmente se livrou de quase 30 quilos!
