Ethan Suplee tem batalhado contra a obesidade a vida inteira contra a obesidade. Já tendo inclusive afirmado que durante sua vida, perdeu mais de 450 quilos, de tantas idas e vindas de peso. Porém, durante um tempo, Ethan levou o desafio mais a sério e perdeu 90 quilos de uma vez.
Mesmo com muitos afirmando que ele usou sua fortuna para fazer cirurgias para ajudá-lo a emagrecer, ele afirma que tudo o que ele precisou foi um plano alimentar saudável e fazer muita atividade física regularmente. Entretanto, parece que mais uma vez ele está sofrendo para manter o peso recentemente.
