Sin saber que querría hacer ella en su primera cita, Alexander retiró 1000 dólares de su cuenta bancaria, que era todo lo que tenía. En tres semanas, los dos estaban viviendo juntos. Alexander le propuso matrimonio a Daena después de seis semanas de estar conviviendo. Lo hizo en tres ocasiones, de las cuales ella lo rechazó en todas. En cuanto al papel para el que ella estaba audicionando, no lo consiguió, pero sí lo consiguió a él.
