Things got complicated pretty quickly. In the highest point of her career since she started modeling she was offered one of the biggest opportunities that a model could receive in her whole life. Thylane was booked to appear on the cover of Vogue.
Granted, it was actually the children’s edition of the magazine, called Vogue Enfants, but still, it was a very important milestone to achieve. However, the risque approach of the magazine regarding her photoshoot caused a huge scandal over child objectification and in the middle of the controversy was 10-year-old Thylane.
