Oliver Geissen hat sich einen Namen als Fernsehmoderator gemacht und kann schon auf eine lange Liste von Sendungen zurückblicken, die er im Laufe der Zeit moderiert hat. Früher war er ständig im Fernsehen zu sehen und moderierte Shows wie „die ultimative Chartshow“ in all ihrer Varianten. Er war damals schon verheiratet und hat 2 Kinder, doch scheinbar war sein Erfolg auf Kosten seiner Ehe, die leider zerbrach. Vor einigen Jahren lernte er die Schauspielerin Christina Plate kennen und es hat sofort gefunkt. Heute sind sie schon seit 11 Jahren verheiratet und haben mit ihren Kindern aus früheren Beziehungen und einem gemeinsamen Sohn eine Patchwork-Familie.
