A Bear Walked into a Hospital and Changed a Nurse’s Whole Life
A Leap of Faith
Hana’s mind raced, her thoughts spiraling back to the injured creature at the hospital. Its eyes had been desperate, and now, she couldn’t let these creatures suffer the same fate. “You’re right,” she murmured, a new sense of resolve building. “We have to save them. If the bear led us here, it’s because it knows we can.”
Her heart hammered in her chest as she turned to Peter, shouting down the well, “Hold on! I’ll get you both out!” She scanned the area, her eyes locking on a sturdy tree nearby. A glimmer of hope sparked in her chest—if she could anchor the rope there, maybe they’d have a chance.
