Hana stand einen Moment wie erstarrt vor dem winzigen Wesen da. Sie hatte keine Ahnung, was es war, nur dass es sich kaum regte und Hilfe brauchte. Steve schlug vor, besser einen Tierspezialisten zu holen, aber der nächste Tierarzt war zu weit entfernt.
Ohne Zeit zu verlieren, griff die Krankenschwester nach ihrem Telefon und wählte die Nummer. Ihr Herz hämmerte, während sie die Situation erklärte. Die Stille am anderen Ende schien sich endlos zu ziehen. Schließlich meldete sich der Tierarzt zu Wort und bat sie, das Tier zu beschreiben. Hana beschrieb es mit vielen Details und ihre Stimme zitterte in der Hoffnung, eine Anweisung von Seiten des Tierarztes zu bekommen.
