Hace tres años, recibió un premio honorífico de la Academia por sus contribuciones y actuaciones. Su marido murió en 1989 y no se volvió a casar durante los siguientes 20 años. Se casó una vez más en 2012 con el empresario jubilado Robert Forrest.
