Patrick Swayze, John Leguizamo, and Wesley Snipes put on their wigs in 1995 and starred in the movie To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything! Julie Newmar as the drag queens Vida Boheme, Chi-Chi Rodriguez, and Noxeema Jackson. It is a movie about three queens who go on a road trip.
The movie was shot in New York and featured many of NYC’s famous drag queens at that time like Emmy award winner RuPaul, celebrity transgender woman Candis Cayne, and famous drag queen Lady Bunny, among many others. Overall, the film received good reviews and is fondly remembered within the LGBT community.
