Over water gesproken, Splash Mountain is een echt wateravontuur. De attractie gebruikt veel water, ongeveer 950.000 gallons in totaal. Maar maak je geen zorgen, Disney is groot op het gebied van behoud. Het water wordt gerecycled en behandeld, zodat het schoon en duurzaam blijft voor continu gebruik. Elke druppel en plons in de attractie maakt deel uit van een zorgvuldig onderhouden systeem, waardoor de ervaring zowel spannend als milieubewust is.
