Hana could hardly believe her eyes. The bear moved with a strange calm as if beckoning her somewhere. “It wants us to follow,” she whispered, awe and confusion blending in her voice. The officers froze, their hands instinctively gripping their belts, unsure of what to do. “Ma’am, it’s not safe,” one warned, his voice tight.
But Hana’s mind was set. “I need to see where it goes,” she said firmly. The officers exchanged uneasy glances, caught between their duty and the impossible nature of the moment. Undeterred, Hana stepped forward, cautiously moving toward the bear as the officers stood back, unsure but unwilling to stop her.
