Suas canções mais populares são “Time After Time” e “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”. Cyndi ganhou muitos prêmios, como Tony e Grammy Awards, e ela já vendeu mais de 50 milhões de álbuns.
Ela é uma ativista LGBT, mas não com um mestrado em direito, ao contrário de alguns outros ativistas. Cyndi continua sendo lembrada por seus fãs de coração até os dias de hoje.
