Fille de l’ancienne rédactrice en chef de Vogue Paris, Carine Roitfeld, Julia a hérité d’un sens inné du style. Mannequin, directrice artistique et designer, elle s’est formée à la Parsons School of Design avant de travailler avec des marques prestigieuses comme « Miu Miu » ou « Max Mara ».
