Léon est le premier enfant de l’humoriste Jamel Debbouze et de la journaliste Melissa Theuriau. Très attachés à la vie privée de leur fils, ses parents veillent à ce que son visage n’apparaît jamais clairement dans les médias. Pourtant, à travers quelques confidences accordées aux journalistes, on apprend que Léon est passionné de football.
Dans une interview accordée à Libération, Melissa révélait même que son rêve serait de porter un jour le maillot du PSG. Une ambition qui témoigne de son caractère déterminé, loin de la sphère artistique de ses parents, mais avec la même énergie débordante qui les caractérise.
