Gina Lollobrigida – Geboren in 1927
Geboren in een klein Italiaans dorpje in 1927, één van de grootste Europese actrices én een internationaal vrouwelijk symbool in de jaren ’50 en ’60. Gina was naast een succesvolle actrice ook journaliste en beeldhouwster. Ze heeft zelfs Fidel Castro geïnterviewd in de jaren ’70!
In 2003 verkocht ze haar juwelen en doneerde een deel van de opbrengst aan stamcel onderzoek. Ze heeft zo echter ook enkele schandalen gehad. In 2006 verloofde ze zich met Javier Rigau, maar blies de verloving af wegens alle media aandacht en beschuldigingen van fraude tegen Rigau.
