Mary Steenburgen – Geboren in 1953
Als dochter van een administratiemedewerkster en een treinmachinist is Mary Steenburgen in 1972 naar New York verhuisd om een theater opleiding te volgen. Haar debuut rol in Goin’ South heeft zij te danken aan Jack Nicholson, die haar ontdekte. Haar rol in Back to the Future III accepteerde zij vooral na aandringen van haar kinderen, die enorm fan waren van de eerste twee films in de bekende trilogie.
In de jaren ’80 was Mary getrouwd met Malcolm McDowell, maar het stel scheidde in 1990. Tegenwoordig is zij getrouwd met Ted Danson, die we kennen van zijn rollen in Cheers en The Good Place, naast een groot aantal speelfilms. Mary Steenburgen heeft twee ere-doctoraten ontvangen van de universiteiten van Hendrix en Lyon. Ze is dus niet alleen mooi, maar ook nog slim!
