Ook al is ze al bijna 80 jaar oud, ze ziet er minstens 30 jaar jonger oud. Daarom zijn er dan ook geruchten over plastische chirurgie, maar iedereen die ernaar vraagt krijgt hetzelfde antwoord. Ze gebruikt als crème Big Balm, wat eigenlijk een zalf is die wordt gebruikt voor vee bij droge huid, schrammen en schaafwonden.
Raquel claimt dat Big Balm hydrateert, herstellende eigenschappen bezit en haar huid er fris uit laat zien. Haar verklaring heeft de geruchten echter niet stopgezet, want eerlijk is eerlijk, ze is wel al bijna 80. Niettemin, ze ziet er nog altijd prachtig uit, plastische chirurgie of niet.
